CNN has redesigned it's site:

"CNN.com has launched a new design that provides better navigation, larger photos, personalized weather, a new 'User Picks' feature, and more depth in specific subject areas, including technology, entertainment and world news."

I do like the buttons better. I like the font they use beside the arrow buttons (all by the video sections)...looks good small. I think they need to improve their directory, it just seems like too much..nothing really popping out...a little hard to read and take it all in. Whoever wrote the above copy needs an editor with some style and pick out something more compelling than "personalized weather."
